How to Operate an MK Wet Tile Saw and Cutter
They are used instead of traditional tile cutting machines for various reasons. They can cut bigger tiles than the tile cutter can handle. They can be cut on diagonal lines that are not suitable for traditional knives.
Most importantly, they can be much smaller than the cut you get from the tile cutter.Set the bottom of the saw at a convenient height and place it in a position that does not create a problem.Place the water pan on the base.Fill a bucket with water and put the pump into the bucket.
Make sure the rubber hose is securely attached to the pump and saw shell.Open the saw and make sure there is water spraying on the blade.Turn off the saw.Place the sliding tray on the guide rail of the pan.
This is a tray with dimensions on it and you can put the tiles into the rotating blade.Check the height of the blade. The slots in the tray should slide under the blade without binding, but the saw should extend below the surface of the tray.Measure and mark the tile and place it on the tray so that the size of the cut is aligned with the blade.
Slide it into the blade and make sure the cut is exactly where you want it to be.Pull the tray back and open the saw.Slide slowly forward into the blade. While applying a slight pressure, the blade is allowed to pull the tile in.Before closing the blade, allow the blade to go all the way through the edge of the tile.
